Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Hoist Technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining all hoist division motors, supplies, and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean, service, repair, and maintain all hoist motors & equipment to manufacturer specs.
- Periodic service calls to jobsites to troubleshoot issues
- Load and unload trucks
- Secure loads on our trucks
- Perform a daily inspection of the forklifts.
- Inspect returned equipment for utility and safety
- Perform equipment maintenance as needed to return equipment to rent ready status
- Perform other miscellaneous assignments as directed by Warehouse Supervisor
- Keep warehouse and yard orderly and clean
- Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must maintain an in-state valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must be proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language.
- Must maintain a working knowledge of what equipment we have in inventory, how it goes together and how it works.
- Must maintain certification to inspect, service, and repair hoist motors
- Must maintain certification to operate an industrial forklift.

- Assist in keeping temporary laborers busy
Working Conditions
- Employee will spend periods of time counting and restocking items in warehouse, and yard.
- Employee will spend periods of time working around forklifts, and trucks
