Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Hoist Technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining all hoist division motors, supplies, and equipment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Clean, service, repair, and maintain all hoist motors & equipment to manufacturer specs.
  2. Periodic service calls to jobsites to troubleshoot issues
  3. Load and unload trucks
  4. Secure loads on our trucks
  5. Perform a daily inspection of the forklifts.
  6. Inspect returned equipment for utility and safety
  7. Perform equipment maintenance as needed to return equipment to rent ready status
  8. Perform other miscellaneous assignments as directed by Warehouse Supervisor
  9. Keep warehouse and yard orderly and clean
  10. Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must maintain an in-state valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written communication in the English language.
  • Must maintain a working knowledge of what equipment we have in inventory, how it goes together and how it works.
  • Must maintain certification to inspect, service, and repair hoist motors
  • Must maintain certification to operate an industrial forklift.

Working Conditions

  • Employee will spend periods of time counting and restocking items in warehouse, and yard.
  • Employee will spend periods of time working around forklifts, and trucks
